E. Howard 13 Wall Regulator Clock Rare

The following information is from the eBay listing:

"This is an original Waltham Clock Company No.13 weight wall regulator ca. 1905 with mercury  pendulum in excellent condition which I am selling from my personal collection.   The case is nicely grained heavy quartered oak and is 70 inches high by 19  inches wide, there are no extra holes in the back of the case.  The fine precision movement is marked Waltham Clock Company with serial number 940, as shown in the pictures, with jeweled pallets, Graham dead beat escapement,  Geneva stop, maintaining power, mounted on a heavy cast iron base.

    The dial is painted roman numerals on zinc 12 inches in diameter.  I do not know if the dial surface is original or if it was repainted many years ago. The  spade shaped Waltham hands are  blued steel.  The dial, hands, movement, weight, beat scale, mercury pendulum and rod are all original to the clock.  For environmental and safety reasons, the  pendulum cylinders now contain lead shot.  As expected from a precision wall regulator, the clock keeps excellent time.  The winding crank and original door  key come with the clock."
